Facing Cyberbullying: Real Advice for Tough Situations

 Cyberbullying is a harsh reality many people face, and it can feel really hard to deal with. It’s when someone uses the internet or social media to say or do things that hurt you, like spreading rumors, sending nasty messages, or making fun of you publicly. Because it happens online, it can feel like there’s no way to get away from it, and that can be exhausting.

If you’re experiencing cyberbullying, here are some realistic steps you can take: First, don’t respond to the bully. Engaging usually makes things worse. Instead, save any messages, screenshots, or posts that are abusive, these can be important if you decide to get help. Tell someone you trust, whether it’s a friend, family member, or school staff.
